Our Love Story
“Nireto lang kami sa isa’t isa, until sabi nga ng taga Batangas ay nagkaige din naman”.
May 2021 when we were first introduced to each other through facebook by a relative. Just like others, our journey together is not as simple as it is. It’s not a perfect relationship, there is no either. Its just two people who choose each other and choose to not give up. We encounter challenges and difficulties along the way, from the start, up until the day we decided to be one. Pero sabi nga nila, “Love is not about giving up but rather about fighting together for a future worth living”.
July 12, 2023 when we finally say YES. Yes to time, yes to commitment but most importantly yes to LOVE. When we were together, we make sure that we make the most of it. We spend time together attending mass, eating our favorite foods, exploring some overview restaurants and travelling different places while deeply knowing each other. Spending alone time together seems a long journey for us. Unfortunately, everything is different when it’s time to go back to work, were also back to LDR. “Chat at videocalls na lang ulit, magkabilang mundo nga daw talaga” but, a long-distance relationship is just like any other relationship. It may seem tough but it has its own surprises too, although it is not for everybody and it is definitely not a walk in the park, but, thank God as He is always our center and guide, we finally made it together. All of our sacrifices are worth the wait. Some will say “ang bilis daw naman”, but we believe that in love there are no impossibilities. Love is not about AGE nor GAP, not about DISTANCE, not about communicating each other everyday and especially not how long you know each other, what important most is TRUST and LOYALTY. The TRUST of Girl to her Real Man, the LOYALTY of Man to his GIRL.
“And now, we’ll make July 12 something more special, a day that we exchange vows and begin our life’s new chapter together. Who would have thought we’re getting married and finally we’ll say “Nireto lang kami pero nagkaige”.
