That same year, Geneva and her family faced a difficult chapter in their lives. A month later, on May 30, 2013, while they were talking on the phone, he asked her to step outside. There, in front of their gate, he stood with his friends playing music and singing the classic Filipino love song “Harana.” It was a heartfelt surprise, and in that moment, he confessed his feelings for her.

Their story officially began on December 30, 2013, when they became a couple. Interestingly, many of their milestones happened on the 30th of the month, a date that would soon hold great meaning in their relationship. From then on, they made it a tradition to go on a date every 30th no matter how simple or grand because for them, quality time together was their favorite shared habit.

Fast forward to today it’s been 11 years. Through joyful memories, painful trials, celebrations, disagreements, and reconciliations, their love endured. What kept them strong was their unwavering commitment to keep God at the center of their relationship.

Today, both 28 and 30 years old, they are stepping into a new season of life.
