Our Love Story

Every great love story has a beginning—and ours quietly started back in high school at San Vicente Institute in Solana. We walked the same hallways, lived in the same town, and yet, we were strangers. Jenn had her fair share of high school crushes, and one of them just happened to be Patrick. But life had other plans, and we went our separate ways after graduation—Jenn pursuing Accountancy, and Patrick setting sail into Marine Transportation.

Years later, in late 2016, fate decided it was time. Patrick stumbled upon Jenn on his Facebook timeline, and something stirred. A spark, a memory—“Is she my schoolmate from high school?” One click on “Add Friend” turned into endless conversations. At that time, Jenn was buried in her board exam reviews in Sampaloc, Manila, while Patrick was in Manila as well, sailing inter-island. Destiny placed us in the same city, and that was where our story truly began.

Our first dates were simple but meaningful. Patrick had his own way of showing affection—surprising Jenn with her favorite food while she was reviewing, leaving her both nervous and excited at the thought he might suddenly appear. With every meal shared, every story exchanged, and every laugh we created, love slowly but surely blossomed.

Not long after, Patrick officially courted Jenn—with his trademark sweetness, generosity, and persistence. What started as friendly gestures became unforgettable memories, and soon, two strangers from the same school became inseparable partners in love.

For 7 wonderful years, we grew together—through the joys and challenges of life, through distance and closeness, through dreams slowly turning into reality. Then, in May 8,2024, Patrick knelt down and asked the question that would change everything: “Will you marry me?” With a heart full of love, Jenn said yes.

Now, as we prepare to say our vows on November 8, 2025, we look back with grateful hearts and look forward with hopeful ones. From strangers to classmates, from crush to soulmates—our journey is proof that love always finds its way at the perfect time.

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to continue writing the rest of our forever together. 💍✨
