Our Love Story

From Cupcake to Center Stage: The Love Story of Angielyn and Matthew


It all began in 2020.


Angielyn was the niece of her tita, who was and still is Matthew’s girl best friend. Matthew, in turn, was the boy best friend of Angielyn’s tita’s husband. That made them the default third wheels always tagging along, always in the background of someone else’s love story.


But quietly, theirs was beginning.


They believed in love at first sight. They felt it. But they chose to ignore it. Maybe because of the ties that connected them. Maybe because Angielyn was the niece of Matthew’s closest friend. So, they stayed silent. They stayed safe.


Then came the cupcake.


Matthew baked it himself. Angielyn, picky when it came to sweets, took a bite and loved it. It was soft, warm, and unexpectedly perfect. Just like him. That moment became their quiet connection. No words, just a shared bite and a spark they both felt but never spoke about.


And then… nothing.


Two years passed. No messages. No confessions. Just time.

Then came 2022.


They met again still the third wheels, still orbiting around someone else’s love story. But this time, the spark hadn’t faded. It had grown. The feelings were stronger, deeper, harder to ignore.


Still, Matthew was shy. Still, no words.

So Angielyn made the move.


She messaged him. She broke the silence. She took the first step.


And that’s when everything truly began.


From third wheel to center stage. 

From cupcake to connection. 

From quiet beginnings to a lifetime of love.

Engagement Story

In May 2023, at TAG Resort in Coron, Palawan, Matthew made one of the biggest decisions of his life to begin their journey together. While they were enjoying the finest dining experience of their lives, with their favorite song Ngiti playing softly in the background, he asked for Angielyn’s hand. But before that moment, he honored Angielyn’s family by asking her parents for their blessing, which they gave with full hearts. That night became the quiet beginning of something beautiful. And now, together, they’ve made the most meaningful promise of all: to choose each other for life

Our Prenup Journey

We took our prenup in Fortune Island, Nasugbu, Batangas, a place we chose for its quiet beauty. Even with its ruins worn by time, it still holds a charm that feels timeless. Just like our love, it may not be perfect, but it’s real, enduring, and full of meaning. Every photo captured more than a moment it captured our story.

  • RSVP

    Our celebration will be adult only, and we’ve thoughtfully arranged seating to keep things intimate and organized. When you RSVP, you’ll see how many companions are reserved for you just check your RSVP section for the exact number.


    Please make sure to RSVP by December 7, 2025, If we don’t receive your response by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend. We’d love to celebrate with you, so don’t forget to confirm! So, we can finalize everything with love and care!


  • What if I RSVP’d “Yes” but can’t make it?

    We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. If you’re unable to attend after confirming, we’d really appreciate a quick message to let us know. Your presence means a lot to us, and while we’ll miss you, we’re grateful for your love and support from afar.

  • What is the schedule at the wedding day?

    Ceremony: 9:30 AM

    Cocktail Hour: 12:00 NN

    Reception Program: 12:45 PM

  • Is there parking space available for my car?

    Yes, there is parking available for everyone at the venue. However, please take note that it is first come, first served basis, so you might not want to be late.

  • When is the appropriate time to leave?

    This event took us months to plan, and we want to celebrate it with the people that are very dear to our hearts. We want you to have fun! Celebrate with us until the end of the program!

  • How can I help the couple have a great time during their wedding?

    • Pray with us for favorable weather and the continuous blessings of our Lord as we enter this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
    • RSVP as soon as your schedule is cleared.
    • Dress appropriately and follow our wedding motif.
    • Be on time.
    • Follow the seating arrangement in the reception.
    • Stay until the end of the program.
    • Join the activities and enjoy!

  • What should we expect during the reception?

    Before the meal is served, we’ve prepared a lively and heartfelt program to kick off the celebration. Expect a mix of fun games, meaningful moments, and a few surprises that reflect our journey and personalities.


    We want our guests to feel involved and entertained from the very beginning whether you're laughing with us during the couple games, cheering on your tablemates, or simply enjoying the atmosphere.


    After the program, we’ll transition into a delicious meal, followed by dancing, more bonding, and memories we’ll cherish forever.


  • May I invite a "PLUS ONE" to the event?

    Guests not found on the guestlist provided will not be allowed to enter.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

    Yes, you’re welcome to capture moments during the ceremony but we kindly ask that you do so discreetly. Please avoid blocking the aisle, standing in front of others, or interfering with our official photo and video team. We want everyone to enjoy the moment while ensuring our memories are beautifully documented.

  • May I invite kids to the wedding?

    Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Only children who are part of the entourage will be attending. We hope you can still join us for this special day!

  • Can I sit anywhere at the reception?

    It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone's convenience and preference, but there is no need to worry! You'll surely be seated with your friends or people that you have same interest with.


    Our coordinators will gladly assist you in finding your designated seat after registration. Feel free to ask them for assistance and they will gladly help you.
