Our Love Story

October 2019, in the bustling heart of London, our story began amidst a Christian conference uniting many churches as one family. Kristoffer, a reserved and steadfast gentleman, first met Deinne, a radiant new soul drawn into the fold through outreach. What began as a simple friendship, nurtured through shared fellowship and acts of service, was quietly and tenderly woven by the gentle hand of Providence.

Seasons passed, and for six months, silence held its place between them. Each walked their own path, seeking God’s guidance, unaware that He was carefully writing a story far more beautiful than either could have imagined.

When fate finally reunited them, it was as if no time had passed at all. Kristoffer, shy yet deeply caring, revealed his devotion not with grand declarations, but through quiet, heartfelt actions: welcoming Deinne’s family into his home with warmth and grace, tending to their needs with kindness, offering faithful company on their travels, and celebrating Deinne’s birthdays with thoughtful gifts, delicate flowers, chocolates, and a Bible inscribed with a cherished verse and a personal message. When asked why, his gentle answer was always, “I’m just being nice.” And so, patient and faithful, Deinne entrusted her heart fully to the Lord’s perfect timing.

Then, on a crisp February day in 2022, high atop the rugged mountainous trails, God’s timing revealed its full splendour. With a worship song that praises God, Kristoffer gathered his courage and laid his heart bare, sharing his vision of Deinne as his future wife and proposing a sacred prayer covenant to unite their souls.

Unbeknownst to Kristoffer, Deinne had already made a quiet plea to the Lord that very morning: if he did not speak, they would remain friends forever. Yet the Author of love weaves all things with perfect precision.

For eight blessed months, they sought God’s will through fervent prayer, guided by dreams, visions, prophetic whispers, and a deep, serene peace settling over their hearts. Then, on 22nd February 2023, they joyfully stepped into a committed relationship, firmly anchored in God’s guidance.

Then came a sunlit day, 18th May 2024, in the Philippines. Surrounded by family and friends in the warmth of Deinne’s family home, Kristoffer took her hand, knelt on one knee, eyes shining with love, and spoke the words that would change everything. Tears, laughter, and overwhelming joy filled the room as she said “yes,” sealing their engagement amid heartfelt embraces and prayers.

Now, as 22nd February 2026 draws near, Kristoffer and Deinne prepare with radiant hearts to celebrate their God given destiny, to declare their love and commitment on one another in Holy Matrimony. 

From strangers in a crowded room to inseparable best friends, from prayer partners to husband and wife, their story stands as a luminous testament: the most exquisite love stories are never left to chance but masterfully and faithfully created by God Himself.
