Our Love Story

Their 5 years relationship is not that easy but God is the highlight of their story. 

Jhay-ar & Nelle were classmates and friends since high school. He courted her in high school but it doesn't last longer for some reasons. They have on and off chats from college. But in 2020, year of pandemic nagkaroon ng chance na magkausap ulit sila. He started to chat and court her before going back to Baguio to finish her make up duties and to review for Medtech board exam. They talked a lot for few months but suddenly he stopped courting again because of the reason that he will focus on applying for police training pero hindi natuloy. Ang ending, He decided to continue courting. They continuously seeing each other kahit pandemic, jogging ang date nila that time every morning , paraan para magkita kahit lockdown haha. 

By April 15, 2020 , Nelle simply answered him with a YES sending an ice cream na may note sa taas na "Ayoko na UMUPO, pwede ba TAYO na lang" (ang corny pero yes haha). 

Few months goes by while he was working in MDRRMO and she was reviewing for board exam. Following years tested them with faith and courage. 

When she passed the board exam, Nelle decided to go home . After few months, he applied for Region 3 police training and by the grace of our Lord God he passed.

2021-2022 year of his training. As part of their training Jhay-ar was limited to food and phone which is also not allowed unless permited. They communicate by sending handwritten letters in a yellow pad called " take life "and due to scarcity of food she only requesting Kuya Laundry to buy for him some bisquits in the training center. Through these they survived their relationship all throughout until his Field Training Program as a Patrolman/Police Officer was finished and graduated.. Currently they are both busy working as Medical Technologist and Policeman. 

By year 2023 to 2024 they are in LDR since he's in Pampanga where he was assigned. Their relationship went through many challenges at the same time some circumstances happened. They are challenged by God's will, at some point their relationship almost ruined and they tend to give up. But despite of these challenges, they faced it and fight for their relationship. God truly never fails.

Fast forward to May 2025 they went to Manila for them just to relax and have staycation because they have difficult schedule at work. Last May 6, 2025 they went to Binondo Manila and Divisoria to Pasig River Esplanade, ate and have a date there. Afterwards they went to Quiapo Manila, He bought a bouquet of flowers having no idea that he will propose to her that midnight May 7, 2025. They believe that all of these happened with God's plan and perfect timing. That day went through as magical day as he promised.
