Our Love Story
Jerome and Liezel’s story began during their high school days, a time filled with youthful innocence and unspoken emotions, even though they attended different schools. One fateful day, as I was leaving my school, I caught sight of him standing in front of my school. As I walked home, I noticed him following me, and a wave of fear washed over me. He seemed like a shadow, a stalker, trailing behind me.
The next day, to my surprise, he was waiting for me again outside my school, a hopeful smile on his face. He thought he could walk me home again, but he was disappointed because I hid to avoid being seen by him. For an entire month, he consistently waited for me outside the school, hoping to walk with me again but that moment never came.
A year passed, and fate allowed our paths to cross once more. He held on, determined not to lose me again. With every step, he showed me just how serious he was. He didn’t just say he cared; he proved it through action. Through all of this, he showed me a kind of love I hadn’t expected.
I learned that love can blossom in the most unexpected ways, especially when someone is willing to go to great lengths for you. Jerome’s persistence and genuine care opened my heart to the possibility of love. Slowly, I began to see him in a new light, realizing that he was everything I had been searching for all along.
Jerome is my definition of love. A love that is patient, kind, and unwavering. He taught me that sometimes, the heart knows what it wants long before the mind does. I found a reflection of the love I had always dreamed of, and in his embrace, I discovered a warmth that felt like home.
Thirteen wonderful years filled with laughter, challenges, and unforgettable moments our love has only grown stronger. Now, as we step into this new chapter as husband and wife, my heart is full of gratitude and hope.
