Our Love Story
Some stories don’t begin with grand gestures or dramatic moments — they start quietly, in the small corners of everyday life. In a neighborhood where everyone knew each other by name, two kids grew up just a few houses apart. Most days, they rode their bikes side by side, racing the sunset down familiar streets, not knowing that one day, they’d be riding through life together.
As the years passed, their friendship grew deeper, especially during senior high school. There was a connection — something easy, something real. But as life often does, it took them down separate paths. They each found themselves in different relationships, living different stories. Time moved on. Seasons changed. And so did they.
For seven whole years, they didn’t speak. Not out of bitterness, but simply because life got busy. Camille and Denz were focused on their own journeys, unaware that the same thread quietly connected them all along.
But God — in His perfect timing — was writing a different story. Both Camille and Denz found themselves single again, hearts healing, lives continuing. And then, one seemingly ordinary day, something extraordinary happened.
Camille was about to close up her pharmacy when Denz suddenly appeared — out of nowhere — asking to buy ice cream. Not just any ice cream… a Magnum.
They both froze. Shocked. Smiling. After seven years, there they were — face to face — as if no time had passed. That simple moment led to a conversation. That conversation led to more. And slowly, the red string that once connected two childhood friends began to tighten again.
Their first date? It wasn’t just the two of them — it was with both their families. Before they were even officially together, their worlds were already blending.
Because after everything — all the growing up, all the separate paths — timing had its own way of meeting them once again.
Looking back, they can only say one thing with certainty: God was in the middle of it all. Every step, every pause, every detour — it was all part of a bigger plan. A plan that led them back to each other, at the right time, in the right way.
And this time, it wasn’t just a story of childhood friends. It was the beginning of forever.
