Our Love Story

From a Simple React to a Lifetime Commitment


It all began in March 2022, with something as simple as a Facebook story reaction. Who would have thought that a few taps on a screen would spark a connection that would lead to forever? Darren, a dedicated seaman, and Reca, a passionate banker, were brought together by fate — and a bit of social media magic.


Our relationship started as a long-distance love story — countless video calls, late-night messages, and unwavering support across oceans. But just a few weeks after getting to know each other online, Darren came home — also in March 2022 — and that’s when we took a leap of faith and introduced each other to our families. From that moment on, beautiful memories began to unfold.


As a couple, we’ve always shared a love for travel and adventure. Every year, we make time to explore new places together. Our first unforgettable trip was to Siargao, just the two of us, discovering every hidden gem and enjoying each other’s company away from the world. Then came Siquijor — the magical island where Darren popped the question — a memory we will cherish forever.


Despite the challenges of being in a long-distance relationship, our love remained strong and steady. Every goodbye made the next hello even sweeter. Through it all, we stayed faithful to one another and held onto our shared faith in God, who has always been the center of our journey.


Now, after three wonderful years of love, laughter, and growth, we are finally saying “I do.”


This wedding isn’t just a ceremony — it’s a celebration of a love that blossomed quickly, grew deeply, and stood the test of time and distance. We’re so grateful to share this milestone with you.

    We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with you! To ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have reserved seating for each guest individually. We kindly ask that each invitation is for ONE (1) PERSON ONLY.


    Please RSVP by July 17, 2025, to confirm your attendance.


    We can’t wait to share this unforgettable day with you!

  • Is there parking space available for my car?

    Yes, there is parking available for everyone at the venue. However, please take note that it is first come, first served basis, so you might not want to be late.

  • When is the appropriate time to leave?

    This event took us months to plan, and we want to celebrate it with the people that are very dear to our hearts. We want you to have fun! Celebrate with us until the end of the program!

  • How can I help the couple have a great time during their wedding?

    • Pray with us for favorable weather and the continuous blessings of our Lord as we enter this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
    • RSVP as soon as your schedule is cleared.
    • Dress appropriately and follow our wedding motif.
    • Be on time.
    • Follow the seating arrangement in the reception.
    • Stay until the end of the program.
    • Join the activities and enjoy!

  • May I invite a "PLUS ONE" to the event?

    As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and family, we have a limited number of guests.


    Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only. Kindly check our invitation to know the number of seats allotted for you. Guests not found on the guestlist provided will not be allowed to enter.

  • May I invite kids to the wedding?

    Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Only children who are part of the entourage will be attending. We hope you can still join us for this special day!

  • Can I sit anywhere at the reception?

    It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone's convenience and preference, but there is no need to worry! You'll surely be seated with your friends or people that you have same interest with.


    Our coordinators will gladly assist you in finding your designated seat after registration. Feel free to ask them for assistance and they will gladly help you.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

    We request everyone to keep the ceremony camera-free. While our I DOs are unplugged, our reception is not and definitely as a couple who loves pictures, you’ll get tons of options to take your pictures. We prepared for this event wholeheartedly.
