Our Love Story
From “Oops, Sorry Pinindot” to Forever
It all began with a wave, literally. After Chev’s board exam in 2019, his friend Julius, now his best man, showed him a photo of a girl. Her name was Ellen. Chev thought, “Impossible naman ‘yan!” But Julius only said, “Ikaw pa.”
So, Chev messaged her. A waving hand emoji followed by the words, “Oops, sorry, pinindot.”
Who would’ve thought that one playful message would be the start of a forever love story?
From that wave came conversations, laughter, and eventually, a first date that changed everything. Chev opened up about his past, his struggles, his journey as a young father, and how he was rebuilding himself. Ellen didn’t flinch; she listened, understood, and accepted him completely. That was the moment Chev knew, this was different.
Ellen, on the other hand, knew she was falling when Chev started bringing her lunch, yes, baon, and all the way from Jones to Alicia. He spoiled her like a princess, and when he left for his board exam review, she felt the void instantly.
Through six years together, they’ve faced challenges that tested their patience, love, and faith. From living under one roof and learning each other’s quirks, to financial struggles that taught them the value of teamwork and compromise. Through it all, they never let go of each other, or of their faith that God would provide.
And now, after all the waves, late-night calls, and shared dreams, Chev and Ellen are finally here ready to say I do.
From “Oops, sorry pinindot” to forever, this is proof that even the smallest messages can lead to the greatest love stories.
