Our Love Story

In the year 2016, a simple message sparked a quiet beginning. Shanice received a short greeting—just a “Hi”—from a man named Arjay, who had seen her in a Facebook post shared by his classmate, who happened to be Shanice’s cousin.

Their exchange was brief, no more than a few messages. Shanice kindly mentioned that she was already in a relationship, and the conversation ended with a simple “K” from Arjay and a like from Shanice. And so, life went on.

Eight years passed.

In 2024, fate began to weave its beautiful thread once more. Arjay happened to see Shanice crossing the pedestrian lane at Sta. Cruz Market while he was inside his car. He thought to himself that he would search for her on Facebook when he got home—but as days went by, the thought slipped his mind.

Until one ordinary day, while scrolling through Facebook, Arjay saw Shanice appear on his “People You May Know” list. Without hesitation, he clicked Add Friend. Shanice accepted, and just like that, a new conversation began—one that neither of them knew would change their lives.
