Our Love Story

God Blessed the Broken Road: Our Love Story
We almost missed each other… but love had other plans.

It all began in 2009.

We first crossed paths because of a mutual friend — Deus, our unofficial cupid. But even before that setup, there was a moment we’ll never forget…

Allan saw Cindy right after her pageant. He worked up the courage to ask for her number… But Cindy?
She thought someone is just pranking her, since the one who is asking her number is a kid, so instead of giving her number, she gave him her gay friend’s number.

Eventually, he figured out something wasn’t right, so he turned to Deus to arrange a real meeting. And finally, we went out. Cindy thought Allan might be gay too (true story!), but Allan? He was already smitten.

We started to get to know each other — he’d fetch her from MMSU, and we had our little moments. But we were young. And as life would have it… Allan ghosted her. And we went our separate ways.

Years passed. We both changed. We both grew. Allan moved to Spain.

Then in 2017, Kate Destiny stepped in again.  She arranged for us to meet — for the first time again, after so many years. It felt strange, nostalgic, familiar.

Still, the timing wasn’t right. We stayed in touch, from time to time. In fact, Allan once messaged Cindy asking her to help him find a girl… And she did!

Then life shifted again.

Cindy was in Manila, going through one of the lowest points in her life — broken, burdened, and lost. Allan, still in Spain, came home.
We started spending time together again. This time, things were different. The connection was real. Stronger. More intentional.

But not everyone believed in us. Many were against us.

Still… we stayed.
We waited.
We held on.

In 2019, God gave us the most beautiful blessing:
Our daughter.

And now, in 2025 —
We’re finally getting married.

After all the wrong timings, the long pauses, the silent years, the noise, the distance… We found our way back.

If you told us in 2009 that we’d end up here —
The girl who gave a fake number… The boy who ghosted and then returned… We would’ve laughed.

But love is funny like that.
It doesn’t always start the way you expect.
But when it’s real, it always finds a way.

God truly blessed the broken road — and it led us straight to each other.

    We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with you! To ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have reserved seating for each guest individually. We kindly ask that each invitation is for ONE (1) PERSON ONLY.


    Please RSVP by June 24, 2025 to confirm your attendance.


    We can’t wait to share this unforgettable day with you!

  • Is there parking space available for my car?

    Yes, there is parking available for everyone at the venue. However, please take note that it is first come, first served basis, so you might not want to be late.

  • When is the appropriate time to leave?

    This event took us months to plan, and we want to celebrate it with the people that are very dear to our hearts. We want you to have fun! Celebrate with us until the end of the program!

  • How can I help the couple have a great time during their wedding?

    • Pray with us for favorable weather and the continuous blessings of our Lord as we enter this new chapter of our lives as husband and wife.
    • RSVP as soon as your schedule is cleared.
    • Dress appropriately and follow our wedding motif.
    • Be on time.
    • Follow the seating arrangement in the reception.
    • Stay until the end of the program.
    • Join the activities and enjoy!

  • Can I bring Someone with me?

    As much as we would love to accommodate all our friends and family, we have a limited number of guests.


    Please understand that this event is strictly by invitation only.


    Kindly check our invitation to know the number of seats allotted for you.

    Guests not found on the guestlist provided will not be allowed to enter.

  • Can I bring my kids?

    Unfortunately, this is an ADULTS-ONLY event with the exception of the entourage.

  • Can I sit anywhere at the reception?

    It took us a lot of effort and discussion to finish the seating arrangement, which is planned for everyone's convenience and preference, but there is no need to worry! You'll surely be seated with your friends or people that you have same interest with.


    Our coordinators will gladly assist you in finding your designated seat after registration. Feel free to ask them for assistance and they will gladly help you.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures and/or videos during the ceremony?

    We request everyone to keep the ceremony camera-free. While our I DOs are unplugged, our reception is not and definitely as a couple who loves pictures, you’ll get tons of options to take your pictures. We prepared for this event wholeheartedly.
